Meet Our Doctors
Our team of veterinarians takes pride in caring for you and your pet. Together, the doctors offer a varied background of interests and experience. Our veterinarians work as a team and often collaborate on cases to ensure that your pets get the best case management and the most favorable outcome possible.



Dr. Johnson Dr. Mike Johnson, a 1993 graduate of Iowa State University, has been with IHAC since 1995. He and his wife Tiffany have two children, two dogs and three cats. Dr. Johnson's areas of interest in veterinary medicine include geriatric and preventative medicine. He finds it rewarding to establish a long-term relationship with both the pet and the pet's family members. During his off time, he enjoys spending time with his family, running and reading.


Sarah Hicks Dr. Sarah Hicks Dr. Hicks spent most of her childhood growing up in Wichita, KS. She attended Kansas State University where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the KSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. After graduation, she was employed at the Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital in Wichita. She joined the Indian Hills Animal Clinic team in July of 2006. Dr. Hicks’ professional interests include internal medicine, emergency medicine, and advanced imagining. She is a member of the Wichita Veterinary Medical Association, Kansas Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association and the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management. Dr. Hicks spends much of her free time with her close friends and family. She is very active in her church and enjoys reading, cooking, working in the yard and tackling home projects. Dr. Hicks has one adorably independent “kid” at home-- her cat Allie.



Dr. Lacey Tiesmeyer-Garrison Dr. Lacey Tiesmeyer-Garrison Dr. Lacey Tiesmeyer-Garrison was raised on her family's farm in Kingman, KS. She graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. After graduation, she practiced small animal medicine in Gilbert, Arizona. She joined Indian Hills Animal Clinic in February 2006. Dr. Tiesmeyer especially enjoys dermatology, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. She is a member of the Wichita Veterinary Medical Association, KansasVeterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association and the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management. When not busy at work, Dr. Tiesmeyer enjoys gardening, playing sports, reading, cooking, and most of all, spending time with her family, friends and husband, Todd. Dr. Tiesmeyer also has two very special children, Brinkley, a golden retriever, and Cub, a chocolate lab.
